Cloth Diapers!

In an attempt to make Cleary's world cleaner (lessen the trashpile he will inevitably live on in his 30's) we have switched to cloth diapers.  I am trying to have as little waste as possible in our house... I only have cloth napkins and I try and recycle everything.  Bonus- all the money I will save!
He is still a good sleeper and a good eater, he took a bath tonight and he loved it and smiled and cooed; right now he is sleeping soundly on my lap with a full belly.

Hospital photo shoot

Cleary was 2 days old and me and Jeff hadn't slept in 3!

It is early! Well early for me pre-mommy hood, but standard post. We had a good night, Cleary went to bed early, around nine and woke up again at midnight then back to bed. Morning came at 6, when he just wanted to eat and go back to sleep. Awake again at 8, this is when I get us out of bed... but lazy baby just wants to sleep the morning away. I thank my lucky stars everyday that he doesn't cry at night, right now he is sleeping in a side sleeper or on my chest. He makes a little heh, heh, heh noise when he needs something... I can usually figure out what he needs while still mostly asleep so we always have very peaceful nights.

cleary's heart

Today I found out that Cleary has a perfect heart! He turns a little blue when he gets upset so the ped doc said to let the cardio guy check him out. He cooed and layed still for about 30 mins of the nurses ecto-gramming (or what ever she was doing to him) but then he was not having it anymore and was like "yo! back up off me" why did the crazy doctor ask why my baby was so fussy, when he was so good for so long??
Anyway, his heart is perfect and we think he turns blue from vaso-constricting; that means he just gets really tense when he gets fussy and i can see all of his veins. This has only happened a few times, but imagine my shock when little man starts to turn blue all over! He is such a happy baby, so I luckily don't have to suffer his scary blue attacks often.
